There’s so much angst in the Young Justice fandom, and it needed a little fluff. Originally I wanted to do a romantic picture for February, but I couldn’t bring myself to draw something romantic at the time. THEN I was gonna draw Nightwing and M’gann having tea (as a bro/sis thing)

But then I drew Wally. It went downhill from there. Ugh I miss Birdflash I really do. They are my OTP in YJ. and Bluepulse.

However, I wanted to do this picture kind of like a blast to the past. Past being the first season, but older. Lemme just say: I absolutely cannot draw Artemis or Kaldur. I don’t even know why. Anyway, I just imagine them talking about their latest mission’s or even them getting back together after the whole Invasion. I JUST WANT THEM TO BE A FAMILY AGAIN OKAY.


Onto the shipping portion of this long post. I ship Birdflash over anything, but I really think that if this was after Invasion, Wally needed to be with Artemis. He would take any chance just to be with her, even if it’s just holding her hand while holding a convo with someone. Artemis is the same. But I needed to put Wally and Dick in the same space. In the first season I did not ship Supermartian. In Invasion, I do. Though it’s not my preferred couple out of all. Kaldur is too awesome to be with someone. even Roy
